Henry Ford studied at Cambridge, under Alphonse Legros, an engraver friend of Whistler and the Pre-Raphaelites, and under Hubert von Herkomer at the school he founded in Bushey. He associated with the Pre-Raphaelite artist Burne-Jones and was influenced by him.
