Painter, watercolourist, draughtsman. History painting, portraits, genre scenes, landscapes.

In 1850 Enrico Gamba arrived in Frankfurt am Main, where he studied with Theodor Steinlen. He lived in Italy, and exhibited in Vienna and Frankfurt between 1873 and 1881.

He is known for Landscape and The Kiss.
