As an illuminator, Girolamo da Cremona completed the missal of Barbara of Brandenburg, decorated an antiphonary and did numerous miniatures. As a painter, little survives of his work. Although inspired by Mantegna, he displayed a typically affected late 15th-century style, particularly in his painting.
