Born 1767, in Houghton-on-the-Hill (Lincolnshire); died 1849, in Launceston (Tasmania).

Painter, watercolourist, engraver (etching), draughtsman. Landscapes with figures, landscapes, animals.

John Glover devoted himself to drawing and went to Lichfield in 1794. In 1805 he was to be found in London, where he belonged to the Society of Water Colourists, of which he became president in 1815. He
