Sculptor.

Godde studied under Pradier and was awarded the Prix de Rome in 1841 (at the age of twenty) for his low relief of the Death of Demosthenes now in the École des Beaux-Arts. He also sculpted a group entitled Cupid and Psyche for the Académie de France in Rome.
