Fernand Gottlob trained with the painter and designer Jobbé-Duval the Elder, and also Laporte and G. Fuchs. From 1891 onwards he exhibited in Paris, at the Salon de la Société des Artistes Français. He received an honourable mention in 1893 and a silver medal at the 1900 Exposition Universelle in Paris. He drew
