Born 6 November 1804, in Paris; died 1889.

Painter. Landscapes, landscapes with figures, mountainscapes, seascapes.

Pupil of Jean Victor Bertin. He exhibited at the Paris Salon from 1833, receiving a third-class medal in 1840, and a second-class medal in 1844. He only painted landscapes, working with Hippolyte Lecomte to produce View of Mount Valerien.
