Draughtsman, watercolourist, caricaturist, lithographer, illustrator.

Grandville studied under his father, beginning his artistic career like the latter as a miniature painter. But at the age of 20 he came to Paris and published a series of lithographs under the title: Le Dimanche d'un Bon
