Born 1835, in Vienne (Isère).

Painter, fresco artist. Religious subjects, portraits. Designs for stained glass.

Pupil with Horace Vernet and Félix Barrias, he appeared at the Paris Salon between 1861 and 1891, obtaining an honourable mention in 1863. His work Portrait of the Dauphin in the Nineteenth Century, was exhibited at the Hébert d'Uckermann Foundation in La Tronche, in 1981. Notable
