Grosperrin attended the École des Beaux-Arts de Paris. He exhibited regularly at the main Parisian Salons, and at galleries in Paris, London and New York. He won many prizes including the Casa Velázquez prize. Primarily a landscape artist, he also painted forest floors, horse riders in glades,
