Jacopo Guarana was a pupil of Sebastiano Ricci, G. B. Tiepolo and Carlo Cignani. He belonged to the academies in Venice, Florence and Bologna. His works include two oil paintings including the Sacrifice of Iphigenia (for the empress of Russia)
