Armand Guéry was a pupil of Auguste Rigon. He exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français in Paris, winning the Prix de Raigecourt-Goyon in 1890, a third-class medal in 1891, a second-class medal in 1894 and a jury commendation in 1900
