Painter, watercolourist, engraver, draughtsman, lithographer. Portraits, landscapes, waterscapes, seascapes.

A pupil of Achille Etna Michallon and Louis Hersent, Guindrand may have visited Rome with Corot. He exhibited at the Lyons Salon from 1822 and at the Paris Salon from 1824.
