William Hardwick lived in London until 1838, when he moved to Bath. He exhibited in London from 1829 to 1864, particularly at the New Water-Colour Society, of which he became a member in 1834. He also showed at the Royal Academy, the Suffolk Street Gallery and the British Institution.
