Hiremy-Hirschl was a pupil of L.K. Muller and Eisenmemger at the academy in Vienna. He worked and exhibited in Budapest, Vienna, Rome and Munich. He was awarded a place at the Vienna academy in Rome. He received medals in Munich (1888), Paris (1889
