Joseph Ince studied under David Cox in 1823; he exhibited in London, notably at the Royal Academy, at Suffolk Street, and at the New Water-Colour Society from 1826 to 1858. There are works by him, mainly architectural subjects, in the Manchester Museum and the Victoria
