Born 9 September 1831, in Disznoshorvat; died 29 May 1875, in Budapest.

Sculptor.

Miklôs Iszo studied with H. Gasser in Vienna and also at the academy in Munich. He mainly sculpted ordinary Hungarians, and made numerous busts. He was commissioned to carve three monuments: of the poet Csokonai for Debreczin, of Dugonic for Szeged and of Petöfi for Budapest. The last two were
