Henry Janlet was a pupil of Joseph van Severdonck at the Académie Royale des Beaux Arts in Brussels and subsequently of Artan de St-Martin and Franz Courtens. He worked predominantly in Flanders and exhibited on a regular basis in Brussels, Ghent and Antwerp.
