Richard Jeranian studied in Marseilles and in Paris, and then took painting courses at the Académie Julian and the Grande Chaumière. He served in the French Air Force from 1944 to 1946. He painted with confidence, producing landscapes of Armenia and France, still-lifes, nudes, figures, religious subjects such as the 1981
