Following the death of her first husband Frank Romer, Louise Goode married J.M. Jopling, a pupil of Chaplin and Alfred Stevens, in Paris. She studied under Charles Chaplin from 1867 to 1868. She exhibited in London from 1874, chiefly at the Royal Academy, the Suffolk
