Karoly Jozsa studied in Vienna, Munich and at the Académie Julian in Paris. He worked in Munich and later in Budapest. He engraved figure compositions on wood: Evening; Victorious; Amazons, Indian Chief, and portraits. He also produced etchings and paintings and worked as an illustrator and designer of medals.
