Henry Hudson Kitson trained under Bonnaissieux at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He won a bronze medal at the Paris Exposition Universelle of 1889; he also won numerous prizes at American exhibitions, notably in Chicago in 1893. Kitson produced a number of commemorative monuments. At
