Engraver, sculptor, illustrator, draughtswoman.

[not available online]Käthe Schmidt Kollwitz initially learned engraving with Rudolf Mauer and she went on to study painting and drawing in Berlin (in 1855) under Karl Stauffer-Bern and then in Munich (in 1888) under Ludwig Herterich.
