Painter, watercolourist. Portraits, genre scenes, animals.

Julius von Kossak studied under Horace Vernet in Paris. He painted mainly in walercolours, working in Vienna and Cracow. Two of his works, Cossack and Sledge, appeared in the exhibition of Polish artists (Exposition des Artistes Polonais) organised in 1921
