Born 14 April 1854, in Berlin.

Sculptor.

Kruse studied architecture at first, then sculpture with Wolff and Fr Schoper from 1877 until 1881. He went to Italy in 1881 and 1882. He settled in Berlin. He exhibited his work in Berlin, where he was awarded a gold medal in 1899, and Paris in 1900, where he was awarded a gold medal at the Exposition Universelle.
