Ivan A. Kudriashev studied at the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture in Moscow from 1913 to 1917, then with Malevich at the SVOMAS workshops for free art in Moscow in 1918 and 1919. He took part in the Suprematist movement alongside Malevich and Klyun.
