Born 16 November 1871, in Znaim (now Znojmo, Czech Republic); died 1940, in Berlin.

Sculptor.

Hugo Lederer studied ceramics in Znaim and at the college of decorative arts in Erfurt, the Bieler brothers' workshop in Dresden and at the Dresden academy of fine arts. He subsequently taught sculpture at the Berlin academy of fine arts. He won a competition in Hamburg
