Arthur Leduc was taught by Lenordez, Guillard, Dumon, Barye and Carolus-Duran. He joined the Société des Artistes Français in 1883, the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts in 1893, and exhibited at their salon. There he received an honourable mention in 1878, a 3rd-class medal in 1879, and
