Born 19 February 1753, in Dordrecht; died 6 April 1825, in Delftshaven.

Painter. Still-lifes (flowers/fruit).

A pupil of Jan Arends, Dirk, Kuypers and Jorias Ponse, Willem van Leen went to Paris in 1773, returning there in 1808, when he got to know M. Sauvage.
