A pupil of the École des Beaux-Arts, Tunis, Jules Lellouche exhibited from 1921 at the Salon Tunisien. After winning a travel scholarship in 1926 he went to Paris, where he lived from 1926 to 1939. He exhibited in Paris at the Salons d'Automne, des Tuileries, des Indépendants
