Painter, watercolourist, draughtsman. Portraits, genre scenes.
Trained by Pierre, Charles Lepeintre was painter to the Duc de Chartres and a member of the Académie de St-Luc. He exhibited at the Salon between 1796 and 1799, having also exhibited at the Académie de St-Luc in 1774.
