Painter. Portraits, urban landscapes, seascapes.

William Logsdail trained under Edward R. Taylor at Lincoln Art School, and subsequently at the academy of fine art in Antwerp. He exhibited regularly with the Royal Academy from 1878, was active in Venice for a lengthy period, and visited Egypt and the Italian Mediterranean coast from 1887 to 1892.
