Sculptor and architect.

Tullio Lombardo was the son of Pietro Lombardo. He is first mentioned in 1475 along with his brother Antonio, when the humanist Matteo Collaccio refers to them as surgentes—emerging—in a list of contemporary artists. Although nothing is known of Tullio’s birth, this reference has led several scholars to suggest
