It is thought that Lorenzo Veneziano was a pupil of Paolo Veneziano and lived in Verona around 1350. One of his first works was an altar painting, Annunciation, for the church of S Antonio di Castello. He painted a polyptych for Vicenza Cathedral depicting The Dormition of the Virgin and Saints
