Ivan Malyutin was a pupil of Nikolai Andreev from 1902 to 1911 at the Stroganov institute. He contributed to several satirical reviews. From 1918, he took part in the Mir Iskusstva (World of Art) exhibitions; in 1925, he participated in the Exposition Internationale des Arts
