Vincenzo Manenti, a son of Ascanio Manenti, who taught him to draw, was a pupil of Cesari and Domenichino. Lanzi praises his St Stephen, in the Chiesa del Gesù, and his St Francis Xavier in Tivoli Cathedral. His son Scipio was his pupil.
