Giannicola di Paolo Manni studied with Raphael and Lo Spagna in Perugino's studio and was Perugino's assistant. It seems that he worked mainly in Perugia where, from 1513 to 1528, he painted an altarpiece and several frescoes in the Sala del Collegio del Cambio.
