Painter.

César Manrique was the son of an architect, and encouraged in his artistic vocation. He studied at the Real Acadèmia de San Fernando in Madrid. Towards the end of the 1960s he returned to Arrecife where he worked on the conservation and improvement of the beauties of Lanzarote, particularly the Montañas del Fuego
