Sculptor.

Laurent Honoré Marqueste was a pupil of Jouffroy and Falguière. He won the Prix de Rome in 1871. He made his debut at the Salon in 1874 and from then on exhibited there regularly. The first work he submitted, Jacob and the Angel, a plaster low relief,
