Painter. Genre scenes, still-lifes, flowers.

Jacques Martin worked in a chemicals factory but was able to devote sufficient time to art to take a place in the École Lyonnaise at that time. He exhibited regularly at the Salon des Indépendants in Paris and produced several portraits and landscapes.
