Born 22 August 1740, in Bellême (Orne); died 16 March 1822, in Paris.

Engraver.

Jean Massard was the pupil of Martinet, and the king's engraver. He became an associate of the academy in 1785, and exhibited at the Salon from 1785 to 1815. He engraved after Baudouin, Greuze and Gérard.
