Painter, engraver.

Jan Matham was the eldest son of Jacob Matham. He joined the guild in 1628 and took Willem Dirck and Dirck der Wulp as students in 1637. He painted some still-lifes and engraved genre scenes after Brouwer, Van Campen and Adriaen van de Venne.
