Painter. History painting, portraits. Murals.

A student of Ange Tissier, Léon Cogniet and Alexandre Cabanel, he featured at the Paris Salon from 1864 to 1881, and he received a prize at the 1875 exhibition. He painted the ceiling of the wedding room at the town hall in Clichy, the medallions and the over-lintels representing love
