Antwerp School.

Conrad Meit is mentioned for the first time around 1511 in Wittemberg, where he worked for Prince Elector Frederick the Wise of Saxony in Cranach's workshop. He was married in the Netherlands in 1514. In 1518 he made a number of statuettes for Margaret of Austria.
