Born 3 January 1819, in Rothfloss (Bohemia); died 23 August 1872, in Bad Gleichenberg (Styria).

Sculptor.

Johann Meixner studied at the academy in Vienna from 1847 to 1848 and stayed in Rome from 1854 to 1855. He made statues for St Mary's church in the Hietzing district of Vienna, and also produced busts of Archduke John, Radetzky and Liszt.
