Born March 1800, in Nantes; died 15 July 1887, in Beaumont-le-Roger (Eure).

Painter, miniaturist. Portraits.

A student of Aubry, he was painter to Louis-Philippe and the Orléans family. He featured at the Paris Salon between 1822 and 1852, winning a second-class medal in 1827 and a first-class medal in 1843. He was made a Chevalier of the Légion d'Honneur in 1864.
