Mino da Fiesole was a pupil of Desiderio da Settignano. His busts, such as that of Pietro de' Medici (1453), are Classical in style and have a Roman realism. His tombs, like that of Count Hugo, in the Badia, Florence, carved between 1471 and 1481, are in the traditional Florentine style.
