Mitsunobu, the son of Mitsuhiro and the grandson of Jukihiro, enjoyed considerable prestige in Japan and was considered the true founder of the School which bears his name, though the name of Tosa was first adopted by Fujiwara no Yukihiro in the 14th century in the Muromachi period.
