Mollart was called to Paris with his fellow countryman, Jean Mauger, by the minister Louvois to draw the effigies of Louis XIII and Louis XIV and the principal events of their reigns, after dies in the coin museum Musée Monétaire in Paris, under the direction of Abbé Bignon
