This artist was active as an illustrator from 1870, working for a number of satirical Parisian periodicals, including L'Assiette au beurre. His best-known illustrations include: Les Automédons ('The Coachmen'), Les Fils de Cerbère ('The Sons of Cerberus'), Paris dans les caves ('The Cellars of Paris')
